RAHMAN adakah 'A' & 'N' akan mengikut jejak?

Which one is more better

Middle Rock

OR

Pulau Batu Putih

You have no choice regarding to disputed islands between Malaysia and Singapore because after long process, finally the decision has been made by the vice-president of ICJ on 23rd May 2008 (Friday), at 4.00-6.00 p.m.(Malaysian time)telecatsed on RTM 1. Here's are the result;

Pedra Branca aka Pulau Batu Puteh owned by Singapore (12 votes - 4 Votes)
and the Middle/Ledge Rocks aka Terumbu Tengah/Selatan has been awarded to Malaysia (15 votes - 1 vote).

More information you can play the video provided by youtube which been roported by TV3

Implication of the ICJ Decision

The decision by the ICJ to award Pedra Branca to Singapore but to decide that Middle Rocks belongs to Malaysia is seen as a Pyrrhic victory. This is because the issue now turns to ownership of the surrounding territorial waters which would be hotly contested due to the close locations of both geographical features. Nevertheless, it is estimated that Malaysia has lost 13km² of territory due to the ICJ decision.

The Malaysian Foreign Minister, Dato Sri Rais Yatim, on 23 May 2008 in a live interview after the ICJ’s announcement, described the ICJ decision as a “win-win” situation. Further, he announced that a technical committee would be set up between Malaysia and Singapore to decide whether South Ledge falls within the the territorial waters of either Malaysia or Singapore.

It may be argued that the ICJ ruling construes a partial victory for Singapore given that while it affirmed its sovereignty over Pedra Branca, the ICJ decided to give Middle Rocks to Malaysia while the ownership of South Ledge is in dispute. Further, Malaysia’s continued sovereignty on Middle Rocks and the probability of continued Malaysian occupation of South Ledge means that Singapore’s maritime boundary may be limited and the latter’s territorial waters would be constrained around the immediate vicinity of Pedra Branca only.

The decision of the ICJ is final and not subject to appeal. The judgment never totally resolved the dispute for it only determined the ownership of the main islet but not where the maritime boundary is. As a response, the two countries set up a joint technical committee to enforce the judgment.

Where exactly do we win? look at the red circle, thats belong to us...

I think most of us, really disapointed with the ICJ result but do remember although Middle Rocks seem to be smaller than Pulau Batu Putih, do remember Middle Rocks consists of two clusters of rocks which is similar with two island. And you know in this situation our areas is more lager then the island belongs to Singaporean.

**Why do we loosed against Pulau Batu Puteh. ICJ told..
The court found that the Malaysian sultanate-turned province of Johor had held the original title to the island, but had taken “no action at all” regarding Singapore’s operation of a lighthouse there for more than a century.

Mahathir & Sanusi quite Umno. Who else?
Accroding to The Star report, Tun Dr Mahathir announced in his home state of Kedah that he has quit Umno, and he urged other party members to quit too, as a way of pressuring Abdullah into vacating his post.

HOWEVER, he advised those who do quit not to join any opposition party, so that they can all rejoin Umno once Abdullah is removed.

In an immediate response to the breaking news, Musa Hitam's protege Shahrir Samad advised people to "prepare for another general election".

AND u know, Sanusi Junid has also quit Umno. Sound scared right?

More info u can find-out from this url http://malaysianinsider.com/mni/mahathir-resigns-deepening-cracks-in-umno.html

What say you P** Lah

"I was surprised that he resigned and does not want to be in Umno anymore," the premier told reporters, after years of feuding between the pair. "I had never thought that he would actually take the step to leave the party.

“Mahathir is a popular leader and there will be some impact from him quitting the party. But I don’t foresee many party leaders following his footsteps,” said Abdullah.

“If the members love Umno, they won’t leave the party. I didn’t quit the party despite all the difficulties I went through.”

Asked whether he would step down to take responsibility for disastrous results in March 8 elections, he replied: "Why should I? I still have a lot of work to do."

"The important thing is that Umno has to remain calm and understand that its members have to be loyal to the party and be strong and continue to carry out the struggle," he said.

Lets get back to the times where people especialy Malays & bumi's cried together when this 'che det' touched our heart with his poems

Is your 1st job is a Nightmare?
Here some tips for you provided by Yahoo which i think may bring up our self confident to get back to the stand and work hard as what we wish to be before we hired by the company we belong to righ now. Hopefully it'll help us. Thanks for Yahoo!

You just started a new job. It's like a dream come true -- except when it's not. What's a professional to do when she accepts a job that seems like a living nightmare? Read on for solutions and advice from a career coach.

1. Assess the Situation (and Yourself)

There are a lot of different reasons why your new job may seem less than ideal. Perhaps your boss is a micromanager. Maybe your duties are different than what you'd thought they'd be. Or a client may have jumped ship, leaving you and your coworkers suddenly scrambling. Consider what's making you miserable before taking any kind of action.

Lynn Berger, a Manhattan-based career coach and counselor, agrees. "I think you have to really scope it out." She urges her clients, "See if there's any way you can take any self-responsibility for this. Also, ask yourself, is there a way you can grow from this? Maybe you've never worked for a boss with a particular personality type, but you may be able to deal with it over time and learn from it."

2. Open a Dialogue

If your supervisor seems happy with your performance while you're not happy in the position, it may be very easy to start a conversation about what's making you miserable. She may be willing to shift your responsibilities or provide you with additional support.

If your boss seems displeased, it can be a bit more difficult, says Berger, a member of the International Coach Federation. "You've still got to open a dialogue, and the earlier the better." She urges dissatisfied employees to talk to management, saying, "Get clear on what you need from them and what they need from you."

Are you without the proper tools and support to do your job? "Throw it out there to your boss and see if he will help. You have to let people know what you need," advises Berger, a graduate of Columbia University.

If you can't talk to your boss because she's the root of your problem, Berger says, "Check it out with other people you work with. Watch how they're handling this person. And if you find out from coworkers that everyone else who's had this position has been out of there in three months, that could be very revealing."

3. Patience Is a Virtue

When Berger works with clients who fear they've made a mistake in accepting a new job, she reminds them, "It takes three to six months until you're comfortable in a new job. There are going to be growing pains, especially if you haven't started a new job in a long time."

New job starters, she says, should be prepared for a bit of anxiety as they roll up their sleeves and dig in to a new position. "It's overwhelming! You're going to be exhausted and you need to give yourself room around that."

While you're ramping up, "Observe as much as you can and not only learn the job, but learn about the company and the way it works, the way things are done," she says. That can go a long way in helping you feel more comfortable.

4. If You Leave...

Do you still feel like you have to leave? Berger tells workers to ask themselves, "Is this a perceived nightmare or a real nightmare? If you're a victim of verbal or physical abuse at work, no one should have to live that way."

However, even if you're not subjected to those horrors, you may still feel as though you're in a nightmarish situation. If you feel you've given it time and your best efforts, you may choose to move on. "No one should feel tortured or sick over a job," concedes Berger.

When looking for another position, you can explain your brief time in this job by saying, "I realized early on this wasn't the right situation." Berger says that job seekers should make the experience seem as positive as they can. Also, she wants professionals to learn from their mistakes. Before accepting another offer, "Ask questions. Visit the company a few times. Speak with employees there. Make sure you understand the full scope of the position and what the day-to-day will be like."

"You never want to regret that you walked away from an opportunity too quickly," Berger says. "As long as you know you gave it your best shot and tried, that's what really counts."

Shocked for Labor Day

The Pix represent myself feelings as today we celebrated a labor day. Happy Labor Days buddy!

Ahaks.. we might be shocked reading newspaper this morning - especialy for those who missed the first sitting of the House yesterday which been telecasted by RTM, the appointed Dewan Rakyat almost fighting themself when some of them make a jeers and heckling, shouting, table thumping and the brandishing which makes other speaker unsatisfied.

Here some headline from a local mainstream and tabloid newspaper regarding to the matter.

The Star
THE Dewan turned into a “zoo” after the seating position of Datuk Ibrahim Ali (Ind – Pasir Mas) became a bone of contention between the Speaker and the Opposition.

Razali Ibrahim (BN – Muar) was trying to ask the first question of the sitting when Karpal Singh intervened on a point of order, prompting Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin (BN – Kinabatangan) to stand up and interject.

When Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia allowed the latter to intervene, Karpal Singh said he hoped that the “bigfoot from Kinabatangan won’t disturb me”.

You-lah, big monkey,” Bung Mokhtar retorted loudly.

Pandikar Amin then ticked off both MPs, telling them to stop this line of argument.

News Straits Time
PATIENCE was the biggest factor that kept Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia in check yesterday.

Speaking to the media after a long day, Pandikar Amin said he would not use his powers to suspend or order any members to leave the House unless he is pushed to the extreme.

The sitting of the first day of Parliament after the 12th general election was a raucous affair, with name-calling.

"Anyone in my place would have felt tested. Half a day was wasted by MPs arguing on technicalities of oath-taking and order of questions raised.

"Taking the oath in the right manner is not a national issue. How are we supposed to debate on current issues if MPs waste the time of Parliament to argue trivial matters?" said Pandikar Amin.

Sinar Harian

Berita Harian

KUALA LUMPUR: Hari pertama sesi soal jawab lisan persidangan Dewan Rakyat, yang julung kali disiarkan secara langsung menerusi RTM1 semalam, hangat dan kecoh apabila pembangkang sering mempersoalkan beberapa peraturan mesyuarat sehingga hanya tiga soalan, dijawab dalam tempoh sejam setengah.

Kekecohan yang bermula apabila Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor) mempersoalkan peraturan mengangkat sumpah Ahli Parlimen, Isnin lalu, semakin hangat apabila ahli Parlimen Barisan Nasional (BN) turut mencelah.
